MY APPROACH

I am interested in getting to know you and what is present in your life, in this particular moment. I would like to help you discover what is not yet unveiled in your life. Without prejudice, without any “musts”.

I would like to offer you a safe and private space, one we will create together, to share those thoughts or emotions you might be afraid or ashamed of. We will mutually agree on the time, pace and attention that each issue will receive, in that given moment. I will accompany you in your search for what does you well.

By combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a Gestalt approach I want to search a mutual agreement with every person who may want my help, so that the experience together will adapt to their needs in that given moment of their lives.

Issues we can work on:

     Anxiety

      Depression

       Phobias

       Obsessions – Compulsions

      Existential issues

Help to focus your attention or with your studies

Ruminations (thoughts that repeat themselves and we do not manage to get rid of)

WHAT CAN I OFFER YOU?

The first appointment will be used to put on the table all those issues you would like to work on and make an agreement about achievable and realistic goals.

  • Short term: We will emphasize on those issues you would like to bring to therapy on a structured and focused manner, with clear goals. If the issue you would like to work on is very concrete, we might be able to resolve it in a determined period of time. The average number of sessions we need to comprehend and start working on a specific problem is between 5 and 10.

  • Long term: More appropriated when the origin of those issues you would like to explore are less concrete, more deep. Something you have been carrying for a long time or when previous, short term, therapy experiences have not been able to satisfy your needs.
